Unveiling the Power of Memory Places
Nurturing Meaningful Connections and Lasting Legacies
This Memorial Day allows us to reflect on our own memory places. Memory places contain the things we value. The people and the places that create memories that last for years to come.
We have valuable “people memories,” reflections of the persons who have invested in our lives. My college professor was one of those. He was an example in the way he loved his wife, his students, and his relationship with God. He always had a word of encouragement to me in my career and my teaching of teens in the Sunday School class I taught. His legacy lives on in my life and in those I have taught.
Each of us has our own “people memories,” filled with special persons who loved and helped us through difficult times.
There are “personal memory places”. Our business is a place of safety and care for people who have lost their job through a reduction in the workforce. Some of these are extremely painful. Many have experienced emotional swings because of job loss known only to our team who come alongside of them during their job transition.
May 25, 2023 an Edible Arrangement delivery came to our office from one of our participants with this note.
“Thank you for helping me, I didn’t believe in myself or how to market myself, but now I have multiple job opportunities and a bright future ahead of me. I want to personally thank my career coach for the amazing work she did to help me move forward.”
This kind of memory is what drives us to support our clients and their impacted employees.
“People are worth the investment”. Memories are being made every day in our office. Thank you for investing in your employees by using our services.
