Why Outplacement is Critical NOW!

Career transition support provides an important safety net and access to critical resources for those facing unexpected job loss.  Professional job search support is always important but with what’s happened to our current economic and business climate, it’s never been more essential.

Why should I provide outplacement for employees when they cannot apply for jobs?

Prior to the pandemic there were many jobs available and a shortage of talent. While this seems to have changed overnight, many of those jobs will still be there when this resolves.  How an employer treats employees and those leaving during this time is critical to their internal and external brand. Employees and clients recognize jobs may be cut but the need for support for those impacted has never been greater so they will need and expect treatment of impacted employees will be comparable to those impacted prior to this pandemic.  We are seeing our participants land quicker and better than those without assistance.

How can you provide personalized service?

We are fully prepared to work with your employees virtually and “in person” just through technology. With the onset of social distancing, the way people interview for jobs and work at their next job will be very different.  Our approach of integrated technology with a “Face to Face” coaching model will help them present themselves the best they can in this new way of work.  We will give them an advantage over others who do not have the support to navigate this new job acquisition process. Our consultants and our technology platform provide the support people need today to prepare and position themselves for their next opportunity.

How long should the program be?

You should offer what you have in the past as best as you can budget wise.  We know it will take longer.  Everyone in our programs will have a coach who will be readily available during the designated time frame and we will give them extended access to our technology and virtual networking and subject matter webinars.  We use advanced technology that will allow for plenty of interaction.  The only difference will be that we will provide support in ways that allow people to fully engage in the process from home rather than driving to our offices, until they feel free to come back into our offices and meet with our certified career transition assistance coaches. We are doing all we can to make sure all are safe and protected in the office setting.
